I went out to a local conservation area on a -10°C morning. The hoar frost on the trees and plants created a painterly feel in everything I framed. In the beginning it was reeds providing a color contrast to the white an blue dominated scenes which were superseded by light of the rising sun. Even though my toes hurt when I returned, I still felt refreshed, calm and pleased with what I had captured.
